Hotel Campo dei Fiori,Rome by Wei Luo
campo dei fiori, rome (quelle: wikipedia)
Campo dei Fiori is a rectangular piazza near Piazza Navona in Rome, Italy, on the border of rione Parione and rione Regola. Campo dei Fiori, translated literally from Italian, means "field of flowers." The name was first given during the Middle Ages when the area was actually a meadow. In the Roman dialect, the name of the piazza is written as Campo de' Fiori.
The task of the design is to build a hotel at the east-south side of the square, to complete the facade of Campo dei Fiori. In such an environment which is filled with historical context, any action which is short of consideration will appear out of place here.
