The site is located within the intertidal zone near Mamam Beach of Northern Pulau Ubin Island, where the tidal phenomenon periodically reveals and conceals extensive biodiversity. The brief of this short project is to create a getaway for 4 poets and explore architectural strategies to communicate with site forces and context. This includes designing spaces which defined by the poets' characters. The project is required to be built on an existing grid of bakau (wooden) poles as structure.
